Douglas Fir trees are evergreen conifers that can grow up to 100m and live for hundreds of years. An antiseptic resin can be obtained from the trunk of decayed Douglas Fir trees on the forest floor. The oil extracted from the resin had a very clean, medicinal aroma with hints of citrus. This oil has antimicrobial properties.

    - The resin from which this oil is made from can help with coughs, fight infections, and stimulate immunity, likely because of its high limonene content

    - endo-Fenchol helps kill bacteria, which is why the resin has been said to have antiseptic properties

    - Add a few drops of Ancient Fir oil into a diffuser for a soothing, purifying aroma

    - Add one or two drops of Ancient Fir oil to your body care products to impart a desirable aroma

    - Dilute to 1-2% for an amazing fabric or room spray

    - Dilute to 1-2% in a massage oil for an amazing experience

    - Consult with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner or your physician prior to using essential oils with children, the elderly, pregnant or nursing women, and those with medical issues or are taking medications
    - Always dilute essential oils prior to use.
    - Do not apply any essential oils internally, eyes, inner ears and other sensitive areas, even if diluted
